Fire blazing

So, do you ever have those moments in church where you can't help but laughing?  Like, let's say it's because it is after communion and the boy you're sharing the pew with says he's "done praying" but his dad won't let him sit on the pew yet.  So continuing to kneel he makes that noise where you fill your cheeks with air and 'squirt' it out. yup that is the best time to reflect on the Preist's homily, specifically how he said Jesus is in all of us. which just makes me think of Jesus making the squirting noise when he was 8 in the synagogue. (Read Lamb if you haven't yet by Christopher Moore)

But I was reflecting on what he mostly talked about in our homily.  He said take one hand and put it on your heart.  Now, you know that Jesus is inside all of us, which means you can feel Him close to you. Now you can put the other hand over your heart too.  In this moment are so close to Jesus and you can pray like this, "open my heart, my mind, be with me in this moment, let me see you here inside of me. (because don't we all forget that if Jesus is in others He is sure in myself too!)  He finished his demonstration saying that you probably felt some warmth while having your hands on your heart, but maybe you felt the fire of faith stirring underneath your hands.  That's Jesus and let that fire blaze.
